Woman of the Month – June 2015 Marla Tellez

Marla Tellez, FOX 11 morning news anchor in Los Angeles, has been selected as the midlifebachelor.com Woman of the Month for June 2015!

Marla Tellez (pronounced TAY-YEZ) anchors the FOX 11 morning news for the 4:30 a.m. through 6:00 a.m. broadcasts (wow – that’s early!), as well as the noon broadcast.  Marla has such an amazing smile – it lights up the screen … yet she also seems to have a certain melacholy about her.  Now that might just be her face – I don’t know her so it is hard to tell.  [My last girlfriend used to tell me that I looked upset at times – and I would just tell her, “No – that’s just my face.”]  ha ha

Marla Tellez was born in San Francisco, and raised in Sebastopol, CA.  She graduated from Sonoma State University with a degree in Political Science.  She has worked at KION in Salinas, and at CBS in San Francisco.  She was also an anchor for KNTV news in San Francisco, prior to coming to Los Angeles to work at FOX 11.  She originally started at FOX 11 on Good Day LA in January 2014, but moved to the morning news at FOX 11 in May 2014, where she is now.  Interestingly, she also appeared on one episode of the hit series Breaking Bad … playing the role of a news anchor.  [She was actually working at KOB in Albuquerque, New Mexico as a local news anchor at that time.]

Marla Tellez’s birthday is April 16, 1976 so she is 39 years old.  She is also reportedly single – and internet news reports state that she has frozen her eggs to possibly have children one day.  We at midlifebachelor.com applaud her for doing this!  And we are also happy to hear that she is single!

Marla Tellez’s hobbies are running, and she is also a foodie – she loves to dine out and also to cook.
