o call Catherine Zeta-Jones “stunning” is an understatement. Many midlife bachelors think that she is the absolute best-looking late-thirties woman on the silver screen today – myself included. I first noticed her when she appeared in the movie, Traffic, back in the year 2000 … where she played the wife of a drug kingpin. She is probably best known for her Academy Award-winning performance as Best Actress in a Supporting Role in the musical, Chicago. An extremely talented actress, Catherine has appeared in roughly 24 different movies. Other than Chicago and Traffic, I think my next-most favorite role of hers was in The Mask of Zorro – which was actually one of her earlier movies … she looks so fantastic in it that is difficult not to stare.
Here is what we know about Catherine. She is thirty-seven years old, and married to actor Michael Douglas – who she met while filming the movie, Traffic. They have two children together. Contrary to popular opinion, she is not Latina – she is actually Welsh … she grew up in a working-class neighborhood in South Wales in the United Kingdom.
From 2003 until late 2006, Catherine was the advertising spokesperson for T-Mobile – which was great because we all got to enjoy seeing Catherine in various TV commercials and also in large newspaper ads. Â Â Catherine fans have been starving to see her more regularly since she and T-Mobile parted ways in September 2006. She is currently the spokeswoman for Elizabeth Arden cosmetics, and primarily resides in Bermuda with her family.
