Melissa McCarty, exotic-looking host of ORA TV’s Newsbreaker and former reporter for CBS2 and KCAL9 in Los Angeles, has been selected as the midlifebachelor.com Woman of the Month for April 2014!
It was a sad day for those of us in the Los Angeles area when Melissa McCarty left CBS2 and KCAL 9 to join Larry King’s ORA TV – which is an online broadcast channel.  Melissa is the host/reporter for Newsbreaker – which is essentially a 90-second update on the day’s biggest news stories.  I’m glad we are still able to see her deliver the news, but I do miss having her automatically show up on my local LA television stations.
I could not seem to find out how old Melissa McCarty is – although she looks to be in her early 30s. Â It does not appear that she is married – as I don’t see a wedding ring on her finger. Â I do know that in addition to being a successful reporter, she’s also had small acting parts on ABC’s Revenge, NBC’s Chuck, and HBO’s Big Love.
