Catherine Zeta-Jones, actress, has been selected as the midlifebachelor.com Woman of the Month for August 2007!
To call Catherine Zeta-Jones “stunning” is an understatement. Many midlife bachelors think that she is the absolute best-looking late-thirties woman on the silver screen today – myself included. I first noticed her when she appeared in the movie, Traffic, back in the year 2000 … where she played the wife of a drug kingpin. She is probably best known for her Academy Award-winning performance as Best Actress in a Supporting Role in the musical, Chicago. An extremely talented actress, Catherine has appeared in roughly 24 different movies. Other than Chicago and Traffic, I think my next-most favorite role of hers was in The Mask of Zorro – which was actually one of her earlier movies … she looks so fantastic in it that is difficult not to stare.
Here is what we know about Catherine Zeta-Jones. She is thirty-seven years old, and married to actor Michael Douglas – who she met while filming the movie, Traffic. They have two children together. Contrary to popular opinion, she is not Latina – she is actually Welsh … she grew up in a working-class neighborhood in South Wales in the United Kingdom.
From 2003 until late 2006, Catherine was the advertising spokesperson for T-Mobile – which was great because we all got to enjoy seeing Catherine in various TV commercials and also in large newspaper ads. Catherine fans have been starving to see her more regularly since she and T-Mobile parted ways in September 2006. She is currently the spokeswoman for Elizabeth Arden cosmetics, and primarily resides in Bermuda with her family.
